Rallies are one of the most important of the Pony Club Activities. It is at the Rallies, held several times a year during school holidays, and on evenings or weekends, that the members get taught riding skills, horse and pony management and many other related subjects.

They are a great opportunity to meet other like-minded (usually pony / horse mad) children and parents (sometimes horse/pony mad, sometimes normal, sometimes just mad!) and learn together and basically have fun with your horse or pony.

You need to attend a number of Rallies to be eligible for some other activities such as Summer Camp. This is so the Pony Club know that you are safe with your pony and know the basics, are riding with safe tack and correct clothing.

Even (especially!) if you are new to owning a pony, this is a great place to come for help and advice, and to learn alongside others with experienced instructors, or to improve your existing skills. Nobody knows it all!!!
